Of the Soul

Hi! I’m writing this one at night because that’s the energy right now. Moon energy. Let’s acknowledge her 🌓⛵️, with love.

In Tarot and Astrology the moon is a symbol of the subconscious, of the soul. If you want to meet the Moon, just look at the High Priestess. Stop talking to yourself and let her talk to you. She speaks in symbols, associations, correspondences, memories, dreams. Your environment itself is highly symbolic. Using symbolic systems like Tarot and Astrology helps you organize your own subconscious mind to help you recognize this. The subconscious isn’t some mystical, unknowable force. It’s what runs on autopilot—the part of you that moves before you think. It’s how you remember your way home.

There’s also a Tarot Key called The Moon (featuring this path home), associated with the number 18, the sign Pisces, and the 29th Path of Wisdom, also called the “Corporeal Intelligence”. All that’s really saying is that the subconscious mind manages your body for you so you don’t have to worry about it.

3 Feet High and Rising 🌊

I talked about sea level rise already. When De La Soul’s debut 3 Feet High and Rising came out in 1989, it was a musical revolution. They didn’t ask if they could sample, they just did it (a lot!), and the industry had to catch up. Today, AI is forcing the same shift, challenging outdated ideas of ownership, authorship, and who gets to define—and profit from—creativity.

🦁We R AI takes it even further, aligning with a structural shift already unfolding in the collective subconscious. The ones who get it are moving forward, while everyone else scrambles to regulate, contain, and litigate something they don’t even understand yet.

This isn’t just about AI. It’s about who gets to decide what’s real, what’s allowed, and what comes next. And just like in ‘89, the answer isn’t the ones clinging to the past.

Creative Abundance

I’m not psychic. If pressed, I’d probably tell you there’s no such thing. That being said, it’s possible to be so tuned in to your intuition that you seem psychic, even to yourself. That doesn’t mean I know what you’re thinking. I don’t. Unless you say it out loud or in writing, it doesn’t matter to me. That’s for you. But when we do speak? That’s the High Priestess in action. She isn’t handing out secret knowledge. Everything you need to know is already in front of you. You just have to learn her language.

All I really want to do is create things. It’s always been that way. Board games, stories, systems, computer programs, music. Everything I’ve done or made has been leading up to this moment, right now. My whole career has been about learning how to see deeply, recognize patterns, and address root cause when systems break down. The “occult” is just a continuation of that, not something separate. Because now the game is reality itself, not some subset of it.

You’re going to hear a lot about “abundance” as everything unfolds, and not just from me. But true abundance isn’t typically something your conscious mind can grasp—not yet anyway. Trying to find fulfillment using only your conscious mind IS a zero-sum game. But reality? It’s expansive. Infinite.

You don’t need to chase. You don’t need to “figure out how.” It’s much easier than that. Watch. Listen. Remember who you are and what you want. Desire is your spiritual self—your connection to the divine. Align with that, and that’s when it gets good.

Intuition? 🤔💭

The main sample in Eye Know comes from Steely Dan’s Peg. Peg is about seeing yourself on the big screen—realizing you’re already in the movie. This is exactly what intuition is. It’s seeing yourself reflected in your external environment symbolically and using that to navigate through the real world. What I mean by “seeing yourself” is that intuition is deeply personal. It uses objects and symbols that only you would recognize in the way that you recognize them.

That’s why I don’t need to tell you how to interpret your natal chart or read Tarot—you already know, whether you realize it or not. But a system of correspondences integrating these tools, grounded in how consciousness actually works, is valuable because there is objective truth about reality. It’s just probably not what you think.

One reason we don’t understand intuition is because you have to trust that it’s available to you as a tool and that trust is conditioned out of us HARD at an early age. It's not on purpose either, it’s generational. It’s not a conspiracy; it’s just the result of how societies condition people to rely on external validation over internal knowing.

Speaking of internal knowing, my personal favorite song on the album is the title track, Aja, “When all my dime dancing is through, I run to youuuu”. And Wayne Shorter’s solo 🎷 isn’t written down—it’s felt. It moves where it wants, where it needs to go, without forcing it. That’s intuition. That’s alignment.

Magic isn’t anything mind-blowing or spectacular in its execution—it’s just how reality actually works. But when you align with it? That’s exactly what it feels like. 🪄
