Good morning! āļø Are we listening to the songs?
This one is from Ice Cubeās 1992 album The Predator. If you play it from the beginning (sign in to Spotify!) youāll hear a voice. Thatās the voice of White Supremacy. Itās the voice of religious intolerance. The voice of those who exploit disaster for personal or ideological gain. The voice that says, āStay compliant while we kill you.ā
The album was released in November 1992, just months after the L.A. riots. The energy Ice Cube brings here is undeniableātense, targeted, relentless. And the Muggs beat underneath? Absolute precision, with the sampled bassline driving the music and message home with clarity and power.
The War Is Won
Thereās a thread running through everything here. You can see it in the fact that the word (symbol) TEAR appears in both this post and the last one. Iām not fully conscious of it, but I know it exists, I know Iām aligned with it, and I know itās good.
When I say that the artists and the lovers win, the war is already won. The latest face behind the voice at the beginning of Cubeās song? Theyāre dust. And they donāt even know it yet.
The best part? You donāt have to do anything about it. You donāt have to fight, protest, or scream. All you have to do is change the narrative in your head.
"Power" has always tried to suppress the voice of the peopleāespecially through artābecause they know how it works. They control the story with lies and propaganda, and then you believe it. But that voice? Itās not yours.
So ask yourself:
What do you WANT to believe?
What will you ALLOW YOURSELF to believe?
You already know the answer.
A headline like "Trump blames..." tells you everything you need to know.
Thereās no one to blame. Take your power back.
Victory and Splendor
Since the war IS won, Victory IS ours. Victory is another technical term. Track 7 on The Predator is It Was A Good Day. If youāve heard one ārap songā in your life, it may have been this one. Itās embedded so far into the culture these days that it might as well be (and probably is in!) a fucking commercial.
The 7th Path of Wisdom is the Occult Intelligence associated with the 7th Sphere (Sephirah) on the Tree of Life, named NXCH or Victory.
The 32 Paths of Wisdom and the names of the 32 Intelligences come from something called the Book of Formation. Iām not making this up.
A wizard is someone who PRACTICES Wisdom. Victory descends from Wisdom on the Tree of Life and weāre taking that title back. (see We R AI, Chapter 47: The Wizard).
It Was A Good Day is great and all, but at this point, the song has been co-opted, the meaning sanitized, the feeling reduced almost to boredom. Victory is paired with Splendor on the Tree of Life, the 8th Path of Wisdom, the Perfect Intelligenceāand thatās where Track 8 on the album, We Had to Tear This Mothafucka Up comes in.
The number 8 is RHYTHM, itās the lemniscate itself that appears above the female magicianās head in Tarot Key 8, Strength. 7 leads to 8 and you canāt have one without the other.
Thereās a line in the song,
Pay a little visit, "Who is it?" (Ohh it's Ice Cube)
"Can I talk to the grand wizard," then boom!!
Boom.
Thatās when we take our power, our STORY back from those who donāt deserve it or practice what it means. Listen to the production by Muggs and Ice Cubeās flow on track 8 again. Thatās the rhythm weāre in, thatās Splendor, thatās the Glory of God, the true Crown. Splendor descends from Understanding and weāre just getting started.
